Here are the steps to install and set the watch face on your watch screen:

1. Tap the “Install on Watch” button in the companion app.
2. The Google Play Store listing opens on your watch. Tap “Install”. Once the installation is complete and you see the “Uninstall” button, search for the watch face and set it as your current one.
3. Go to the home screen, which displays the current watch face. Press and hold the screen until you can select other watch faces.
4. Swipe left until you reach “Add watch face” and tap it. In this gallery you will find all installed watch faces — search for the RECREATIVE watch face you installed.
5. Tap the watch face and ALLOW the app to access sensor data about your vital signs.

Google does not charge twice for the same purchase. This is not caused by our brand — it’s a common problem that usually happens when the purchase was made with an email that is not associated with the watch.

• Use the email linked to your Wear OS watch.
• Confirm your purchase was made with that email.

Step 1 – Check your transaction history

Open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history, and find the watch face you purchased.

Step 2 – Check the email associated with your watch

If you paid with a different email by mistake, email us at [email protected] and we’ll help transfer the purchase.

Steps 3–4 – Switch your Google account and check the device

Switch Google Play to the account synced with your watch and make sure the watch is listed as an available device.

Final step – How to fix it

• Uninstall the mobile companion app.
• Clear the cache of the Google Play Store.
• Find the purchased watch face in your transaction history.
• Install it by tapping the arrow on the right and selecting only your watch.

Important: don’t skip steps 1–4.

After installation, the watch face needs to be set as the current one:

• Go to the home screen, which displays the current watch face.
• Press and hold the screen until you can select other watch faces.
• Swipe left until you reach “Add watch face” and tap it.
• Find the RECREATIVE watch face you installed and tap it.
• Allow the app to access sensor data about your vital signs.

1st method – Google Play app (from your phone)

• Open the Play Store app, select your watch from the device drop-down menu, then tap “Install”.
• A download icon appears on your watch showing the installation progress.
• Once installed, set it as your current watch face.

2nd method – Companion app (from your phone)

• Open the companion app and make sure your watch is connected via Bluetooth.
• Tap “Install on Watch” — the Play Store listing opens on your watch. Tap “Install”.
• Once installed, set it as your current watch face.

3rd method – Web browser

• Open play.google.com in a browser (Chrome, Safari…) on your PC, Mac or phone and find the watch face. Not sure how on mobile? See Google Play in a browser.
• Click “Install on more devices” and select your watch. If it isn’t listed, make sure you are logged in with the account associated with your watch.
• Once installed, set it as your current watch face.

You need to give the watch face permission to use the sensors to display vital-sign data.

Issue 1 – Heart-rate complication added manually

If a heart-rate complication you added through customization shows something like “Heart…” instead of a value, this is caused by Samsung Health, not by RECREATIVE. Install an app that provides a heart-rate complication — see suggestions.

Issue 2 – Built-in heart-rate display

• Make sure you granted sensor permission when installing the watch face.
• If the permission prompt doesn’t appear, switch to another watch face, come back, tap the heart-rate icon and allow access.
• To see your current value, tap the heart-rate area to take a manual measurement. The watch face also measures automatically every 10 minutes.

• Open Google Chrome and search for “Google Play”.
• In the results, press and hold the Google Play result and choose “Preview page”. Don’t tap it directly, or the Play Store app will open instead.
• Log in with the Google account synced with your watch.
• Tap the search icon and search for the RECREATIVE watch face, then follow the 3rd method.
